Echo News is a long-established local news publisher serving north-west Brisbane. DIGITALO Services undertook a huge transformation of the existing website, migrating and managing around 1,700 existing news posts while adding approximately 50 new pages and giving the entire site a fresh, light and professional new look.
The Project
This was far more than a standard website redesign. Echo News needed a professional publishing platform that could support an active local newspaper, hundreds of articles and a growing range of advertising opportunities.
The existing content was retained and reorganised into a much more useful structure, with new news categories, events and dedicated information about Echo News and its advertising services. The site was rebuilt using the Jannah WordPress news theme, creating a bright, modern environment for readers while giving the newspaper the tools it needs to manage its digital presence.
